Exodus 22:22 says“Ye shall not afflict any widow or fatherless”.
Psalm 146:9 says“The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow—
James 1:27 says“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world”.
1 Timothy 5:16 says“If any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve them, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed”.
The word WIDOW appears 54 times in the old and new testament of the Bible. Great prophets of God and our Lord Jesus Christ had special encounters with widows. These groups of individuals are most neglected in some Churches. This ministry took upon her to show love and care as the LORD enables her. We pray with them, counsel them and most especially give financial support as God bless us through gifts and donation from brethren. Rev. O. E. Oluwole lost his biological parents in 1974 and 1984 respectively. It has been a special burden in his heart to pray, encourage and support widows and orphans as the Lord blesses.
